I don’t think words can accurately describe how beautiful Whitney and Willie’s wedding was last Saturday. From the stunning lace dress to the lovely wildflower arrangements, even the tiniest details like the clever bottle cap and hops boutonnieres made this day the highlight of my year. And to top it off, the gorgeous ocean views at Stone Crest Cellar in South Beach, OR added a touch of romantic as the Bride and Groom said their vows.

From the day I met Whitney and Willie at their consultation, I could tell as they described their ideal wedding, that this wedding would be a stand out. They kept a non-traditional eye on the wedding details, which was brilliant because the details were memorable and unique and the focus was always on the beautiful couple. Simple, elegant, and beautiful beyond belief.

Their love story was embraced by their close family and friends and I think everyone (including me) teared up more than once throughout the day.

Not only tears were spent, but laughter as well. Harley (the Bride and Groom’s adorable yellow lab) was the ring bearer and he was led down the isle by the sweet flower girl, Ellie. Well, sort of… Ellie wanted to walk down the isle, but Harley had other plans. He wanted to greet all of the guests! Wagging his tail wildly, he pulled Ellie around and around as she tugged him along, stubbornly making their way to the alter… in a round about way. It was one of the many sweet moments that I’m sure the lovely couple will hold on to forever.

As I am typing, I can’t help but smile at the memories of this wedding. I am honored that I got to be a part of such a special day, with such a special couple. Whitney and Willie, congratulations and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
